April 4 Priority registration for EOPS/DSPS/Veterans/Foster Youth/CalWORKs
April 5 Priority registration for DSPS notetakers, early graduation petitioners, intercollegiate athletes
April 6 – 12 Priority registration for continuing students and recent high school graduates who have completed Student
Success Program**
April 13 Priority registration for new students who have completed the Student Success Program**, and returning students
with less than 100 degree applicable units
April 20 Registration for continuing and returning students with over 100 degree applicable units or on second semester
probation/dismiss
May 7 Registration for new students who did not complete the Student Success Program** and exempt students
May 28 Holiday – Memorial Day
May 29 In-person registration for concurrent high school students
May 29 First day of instruction for 3 week and 9 week classes – registration by late add code
June 14 Last day of instruction 3 week classes
June 18 First day of instruction for summer 6 week classes – registration by late add code
Variable The last day to add and other important dates vary by course. Check your class schedule on InSite to obtain these
dates.
July 4 Holiday – Independence Day
July 12 Last day to petition for a summer degree/certificate
July 26 Last day of instruction for 6 week classes
July 26 Last day of instruction for 9 week classes
FINAL EXAMS Usually held during the last scheduled class meeting. Confirm with your instructor.
SPECIAL NOTICE ABOUT SUMMER SESSION COURSE DEADLINES: For summer classes the dates to add, receive a refund, or drop are calculated individually based on the length of each class. For detailed class-specific deadline dates, log into your InSite student account and select “My Class Schedule”. You may also check with your instructor who has this information on the class roster.

Students are strongly advised to record these deadlines in their personal calendar.

Date calculation guidelines:

• Last day to add or drop with eligibility for fee refund (10% of the class)
• Last day to withdraw from a full-term class without a “W” (20% of the class)
• Last day to choose Pass/No Pass grading option (30% of the class)
• Last day to withdraw from a course with a “W” (75% of the class)
• Last day to enroll in or adjust units for an open entry/open exit variable unit class (75% of the class)

It is the student’s responsibility to know and understand all college deadlines.

** The Student Success Program includes assessment, orientation, and completion of an educational plan.
