Parking permits are required for student parking lots and roads on campus.
From 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday: Students with parking permits may park only in Lots 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 10, 14, 15, 16, 17 (non staff spaces only), Parking Annex (non staff spaces only), Castro Street, Mission Bell Drive, and Upper Campus Drive between Lot 14 and the Early Learning Center.
After 4:00 p.m.: After 4:00 p.m., certain faculty/staff lots, but not all, are available for students with parking permits. These lots are identified with special signs. These include only Lots 4, 5, 10, 15, and Upper Campus Drive between Lot 12 and Lot 14. If you park in any other faculty/staff lots after 4:00 p.m., you may be ticketed.
Parking Lots 3, 5, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, and 15 (and student) are designated staff parking lots. Students may not park in any of these lots before 4:00 p.m. After 4:00 p.m., students may park in Lots 4, 5, 10, 15, and upper Campus Drive between Lot 12 and Lot 14 with permit only. Students may not park in Lots 3, 8, 9, 11, 12, or 13 at any time.
DMV Permitted Blue Parking Zones: These special parking spaces are designated for persons with disabilities who have DMV permits. If you are temporarily disabled, you may obtain a temporary permit from the DMV with a medical authorization from your doctor. Persons with disabilities who have permits may park in any legal parking space on campus. It is a parking violation to park in a disabled-designated space without a permit.
Available in a reserved and preferred parking lot for free for those signed up with the campus program. Car pooling is defined as two passengers and one driver (must be students). Applications are available in the Student Life Office.
Contra Costa College offers a student parking permit to allow parking in student parking lots and roads on campus. You may purchase a term-length parking permit through the Insite Portal.
You may purchase $3.00 daily parking permits from the vending machines located in Lots 1, 2, 6, 10, and 14. Coins and credit/debit cards are accepted.

Visitors: Those with official business on campus may obtain permits for the day from the appropriate office (President’s, Business Services, Instruction, Student Services) in the Student & Administration Building or from Police Services.
Permit Refunds & Replacements
Parking Fee Refunds: Refunds are made only to the person who paid the fee, and who meets all the following conditions:
- Applicants must show a valid cashier’s receipt for the parking fee;
- Student drops all courses for which he/she is registered within the first 10 days of semester; and
- The parking decal or remnant of the parking decal must be returned.
Parking Permit Replacements: Replacement permits are $2 each and are issued only if the car is destroyed, in disrepair, or sold, and only to the person who paid the fee. You must present the remnants of the old permit and the purchase receipt, as evidence of payment, to the campus cashier in Student Services Center, Room 115.
Note: This replacement provision does not apply in the case of lost or stolen permits. Without the original permit, a new permit must be purchased at full price.
Parking regulations are enforced 24 hours a day, beginning at 7:00 a.m. Monday and ending at 5:00 p.m. Friday. They are not enforced on the weekends or on legal holidays. During the summer term, the college does not enforce parking regulations on Fridays. Students who park in faculty/staff lots will be ticketed. Anyone who parks in a non-legal spot or a red zone at any time may be ticketed.
Citations for parking violations are issued by the Campus Police. Fines can either be paid online at contracosta.thepermitstore.com or by mail at:
