Food Pantry

All students have access to our food pantry, which offers both canned and fresh food.

Free Produce Truck

Pick-Up / Drop-Off Area| Every other Monday, 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. | 510.215.4923

Every other Monday, free produce is distributed in the pick up / drop-off zone in front of the Student Services Center. All are welcome. Just remember to bring an empty bag!


Office of Financial Assistance| Student Services Center, Room 102 | 510.215.6026

People who meet federal income eligibility rules might also qualify for Cal-Fresh. Its goal is to help you put healthy and nutritious food on the table. Our Office of Financial Assistance does Cal-Fresh eligibility screening once a month, by appointment. If you are an EOPS, CARE or CalWorks student, you may also be screened and apply for Cal-Fresh in their offices.

Comet Care Packages

SparkPoint | Student and Administration Building, Room 227 | Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m | 510.215.6873

Comet Care Packages include things like tooth brushes and toothpaste, soap, shampoo, deodorant, feminine hygiene products and shaving supplies. If you need to pick one up, just come by the SparkPoint office in the Career and Transfer Center.

Men’s Shower Facilities

Men’s Locker Room | Tuesday – Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Women’s Shower Facilities

Women’s Locker Room | Tuesday – Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Clipper Cards + Carpools

If you need help getting to school, emergency clipper cards might be available from Student Life. You can also ask them about our carpool program. If you’re an EOPS or CalWorks student, they might be able to help you out, too.

Several programs around campus offer semester-long book and calculator loans.
