Associate in Science for Transfer Degree

The Associate in Science for Transfer Physics degree (AS-T) will provide students interested in pursuing a bachelor’s degree in physics and engineering with the lower-division coursework required to transfer into the California State University (CSU) system. Although this degree meets the legal mandate for CSU transfer degrees, students should follow the specific articulation agreement found at for the selected transfer institution. Successful completion of the AS-T in Physics guarantees admission into the CSU system by satisfactory completion of a minimum of 60 units of degree credit coursework, including the major requirements and breadth requirements, with a minimum grade point average of 2.0. Students must complete all courses for the major with a grade of C or better.
