Star Party

Join us for a Star Party tonight, September 5 from 7:30p.m. to 10p.m.
All ages of family and friends are welcome. 7:30p.m: Watch the Sunset and chat with family and friends. Get a nice look at Saturn, which is close (it was just at “opposition”—the closest—a week ago, and now Earth has slowly passed it). It will be a dark, Moon-less night (nearly a “third quarter Moon”) until around midnight, so we will seek out “deep sky objects.” We will point out constellation patterns, Polaris, and just enjoy a night under the stars.
Come to the Science Center elevator, press R, and come on up to the roof! See you there!
