A nationally recognized transformativetransdisciplinary scholar and leading expert in STEM education, Dr. Ellington is an Associate Professor of Mathematics Education, Advanced Studies, Leadership, and Policy at Morgan State University
Her extensive work on STEM education, professional development and navigating the STEM pipeline for minoritized students has been featured in various publcations, including The Negro Educational Review and the Journal of Negro Education, and CBE-Life Sciences Education.
Dr. Ellington will share her vision of STEM education as a transformational process that requires the STEM community to examine and shift its practices and beliefs to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion. She will present her framework for STEM education and leadership, and offer some evidence-based strategies to improve STEM outcomes for all students.
