Harvest of Empire Movie Screening

Our evening event will include a short discussion on demystifying the true history and significance of Cinco de Mayo celebration in the United States followed by a movie screening of Harvest of Empire focusing on the present-day Latinx U.S. immigrant experience; which also intersects with the immigrant experience of many other ethnic communities in the U.S.

CCC is an HSI campus and serves a majority Latinx as well as immigrant student population as well as surrounding campus community.
