Contra Costa College Stands with International Students

The International Student Office at Contra Costa College is aware of a recent message released by SEVP regarding the ability of F-1 students to maintain their status in the fall if enrolled exclusively in online courses. While this broadcast indicates the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s intention to reverse the temporary exemption that was enacted during the spring and summer terms, a final ruling has not yet been released.  

Please know that we are working hard to interpret this new message, gather additional information, and collaborate with college administration so that we can provide clear guidance to you about your options for the fall term.  We will post and email this guidance as soon as possible and hope to have additional information by Wednesday, July 15. Please continue to check your InSite email address for updates.
