The Black Experience is a learning community centered on unity, belonging, and student success. It supports African American students, along with all students who are committed to equity, cultural connection, and academic achievement. Through mentoring, counseling, and courses that center Black identity and experience, the Black Experience helps students grow personally and academically.
Grounded in community and guided by care, the Black Experience nurtures the whole student—mind, body, and spirit. You’ll build strong relationships with peers, instructors, and counselors while deepening your sense of purpose and pride in your heritage. The Black Experience is part of a statewide network that helps students succeed and transfer with confidence.
