College 4 Kids

Are you ready for an unforgettable summer adventure? Our College 4 Kids program is designed for incoming 4th to 6th graders who are eager to explore, learn, and have fun! Whether your child is a budding scientist or a future star of the stage, we have the perfect track for them.

Our programs run for 4-6 weeks, Monday through Thursday, and include a morning session priced at $400. For those who want to keep the fun going, we offer an optional afternoon sports session for just $100. Plus, lunch is provided by WCCUSD, so your child will stay energized and ready to learn!

Drama Track Program Overview 

Students explore the fundamentals of acting, improv, playwriting, and directing, along with technical theatre skills like costumes, set design, lighting, and sound. They choose which areas to focus on as they create a production with faculty guidance. The program culminates in two public performances on July 22nd and 23rd

STEM Track Program Overview 

Codebreakers Camp (Math) – Discover the fun side of math through logic puzzles, games, and challenges! Students will use logic and problem solving to crack codes and uncover patterns. 

Inventor’s Workshop (Engineering & Physics) – Build, test, and explore! In this hands-on class, students create simple machines, test ideas, and learn how things move and work. 

Lab Explorers (Chemistry) – Experiment with reactions, mixtures, and mystery ingredients! This class is all about hands-on chemistry, fun and discovery. 

Inside Out Lab (Anatomy) – Take a closer look at how the human body works! Students explore bones, organs, and body systems through models, specimens, and activities. 

The Garden Project (Gardening) – Dig in and get growing! Students learn how plants grow, explore garden ecosystems, and get their hands dirty by planting, watering, and harvesting in a fun, outdoor classroom. 

Ready, Set, Cook! (Culinary Arts) – Welcome to the kitchen! In this hands-on class, students will build cooking skills, try out new ingredients, and grow confidence in the kitchen. The session ends with a special feast using ingredients from the garden.

Students should bring a water bottle, any required materials listed in the welcome packet, and a positive attitude! Sunscreen and a hat are also recommended for outdoor activities.

Comfortable, casual clothing is recommended. Closed-toe shoes are required for safety during activities.

Tennis shoes and swim wear are required for sports and/or swim activies.

Please avoid bringing valuable items.

Yes, our staff and volunteers will escort students to and from each class to ensure their safety and help them navigate the campus.

Students must be picked up within 30 minutes of their last activity.
More information will be provided in the application packet and at the mandatory orientation.

Drop-off and pick-up will take place at the designated area on campus. Detailed instructions and maps will be provided in the welcome packet and during orientation.

No, track changes are not allowed after the program starts due to planning and resource allocation.

In the event of an emergency, we will immediately contact parents or guardians using the emergency contact information provided during registration. Additionally, updates will be posted on our website and sent via email and text message alerts. Please ensure your contact information is up-to-date to receive timely notifications.

Communication during the summer will be through email, our website, and text messages. We will also provide updates and important information during the orientation session.
