Use our Resume Builder to create a professional resume that highlights your skills, experience, and goals—even if you’re just getting started.

Step 2: Apply for local jobs and internships
Once your resume is ready, you can use it to apply directly through our online job board.

  • Jobs: Find local opportunities that match your interests and schedule.
  • Internships: While many internships are unpaid, they can offer college credit, real-world experience, and valuable skills for your resume.

Bonus: Earn credit while you work
Already working or just landed a job? You may be able to earn college credit through Work Experience Education. It’s a great way to turn your job into progress toward your goals.

For Employers

If you’re an employer we have two options for you to work with our students and alumni. The first option is for employers ready to employ our students and alumni using our Handshake job board where you can post jobs to our students and alumni. The second option is for employers wanting to create an internship for our student or would like to create a partnership with CCC through (virtual) activities: Guest Speaker, Tour, or Advisory Committee Support. Employers can complete the Earn and Learn Form.

Student Resources

At Contra Costa College, we provide essential resources to support your academic journey. Our Academic Counseling, Basic Needs Center, Career Services, and Transfer Services are designed to help you succeed in your studies, manage personal challenges, prepare for your career, and smoothly transition to four-year institutions.
