Clipper Start 50% off, are discounts for Bay Area residents ages 19-64 who meet certain income, and eligibility requirements.

Guaranteed Ride Home Program for Commuters
This program ensures you have a ride back if emergencies occur. Registering is free, and they’ll reimburse you for up to six rides each year. Plus, it’s not just for drivers; if you walk, bike, carpool, or vanpool to work or college in Contra Costa County, you’re eligible.
Try Transit to College
Let someone else do the driving to campus! 511 Contra Costa will give you a free $25 Clipper Card to try commuting by bus or BART. Save money, help the planet, and use your commute to study (or nap 😴).
Live in Richmond?
Rides are able to be booked with the free Richmond Moves app, or by calling 510-937-3657 for assistance over the phone. The service will operate Monday – Friday from 7am-7pm.
