Housing Resources

Access housing resources, support programs, and free services at Contra Costa College. We’re here to assist you in finding a safe and comfortable home.

Provided here is a list of known affordable or subsidized multiple family rental units in Contra Costa County. Please call each building manager for the application or waiting list procedures.

Find affordable housing options in Contra Costa County. Use our rental search tools to explore available units, connect with property managers, and access resources to help you secure a home that fits your budget.

Includes information on emergency shelters, affordable housing, roommate searches, short-term housing, Facebook housing groups and more.

Habitat for Humanity offers an affordable homeownership program that helps low- to moderate-income families build and purchase their own homes. Through this program, families partner with Habitat to construct their homes and pay an affordable mortgage, making homeownership accessible and sustainable.

The Berkeley Student Cooperative is a 501c3 nonprofit housing cooperative. Their mission is to provide a quality, low-cost, cooperative housing community to university students, thereby providing an educational opportunity for students. The BSC provides affordable housing and board to students at UC Berkeley and other Bay Area colleges and universities including Contra Costa College.

  • Homeless students born in CA can get free assistance with getting a copy of their birth certificate and CA state Identification

    AB 801: Financial Aid can identify and verify homeless students for the purpose of receiving priority registration, independent financial aid status, and a physical mailing address from the school

    For those who are currently homeless or at risk of becoming homeless
  • Done through Financial Aid Homelessness Liaison

The Compass Center welcomes partnerships and philanthropic support that strengthen student wellbeing and access to essential resources.
