Martin McNair is a semi-retired real estate developer and investor who participates in numerous philanthropic endeavors. He is currently the President of the Point Richmond Gateway Foundation which supports a number of local non-profits. He served on the Board of Directors of Mechanics Bank for 25 years until it was recently purchased by a Texas holding company. Martin spent 28 years of active and reserve duty with the US Navy (SEAL), retiring as a Captain. He is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley (B.S.) and the University of Chicago (MBA). Martin has served on the Contra Costa Foundation Board for over a decade.
