Donna Floyd

Donna Floyd is a retired college administrator from the Contra Costa Community College (CCCC) District, serving the bulk of her 24 years of service at Contra Costa College (CCC) as an Academic Dean and as interim vice president, both at CCC and Diablo Valley College.  Prior to her career at CCC, Donna served 11 years at UC Berkeley as a Student Affairs Officer. She grew up in the Bay Area which included Richmond where she attended high school and graduated from Harry Ells.  Donna’s higher education began at Contra Costa College where, she completed the requirements for an A.A. Degree in Psychology in 1972. She then attended California State University, Hayward where she graduated with a B.A. degree in Psychology in 1976 and went on to get a M.A. Degree in Educational Psychology/Counseling from the University of San Francisco in 1979; and then a Psy.D. Degree in Clinical Psychology from John F. Kennedy University in 2001.  On a personal note, Donna wants to help lead the way forward to a bright and productive future for youth.
