Men’s Football

Coach Davis, an East Bay native, got his start on the football field at Pinole Valley High School before continuing his playing career at Dickinson State University. He later transferred to the University of Minnesota Duluth, where he wrapped up his collegiate career in style—earning All-American honors as a cornerback.

After hanging up his cleats, Davis turned to coaching, beginning as the Defensive Backs and Special Teams coach at Pinole Valley High from 2013 to 2017. He then gained collegiate coaching experience as a student assistant at the University of Minnesota Duluth while completing his bachelor’s degree in 2017 and 2018.

Following his graduation, Davis returned to Pinole Valley High as defensive coordinator for the 2021 and 2022 seasons, helping lead the team to its first 7A state championship. Most recently, he served as the Special Teams Coordinator and Defensive Backs coach at Adrian College. In addition to his bachelor’s degree, Coach Davis is also a proud Contra Costa College alum, having earned his associate degree here.
