Automotive Collision Repair at Contra Costa College
At CCC, you’ll spend over two-thirds of your time in our impressive on-campus automotive collision repair shop, getting hands-on experience with real vehicles and the latest tools. Our program has a stellar reputation and strong industry connections, helping students launch successful careers in collision repair.
We follow I-CAR’s industry-standard curriculum, and all of our instructors are I-CAR and ASE certified. You’ll train in all six ASE collision repair areas and prepare for I-CAR Steel + Aluminum Welding Qualification Tests, as well as ASE certification exams.

What is Automotive Collision Repair
This field focuses on restoring vehicles to their original condition after accidents or damage. It combines technical skill, precision, and a deep understanding of vehicle systems and materials—from welding and frame straightening to refinishing and detailing.
