With over 15 years of experience in high school and AAU basketball, Reginald Figgs brings a championship pedigree, deep community roots, and a proven track record of developing student-athletes on and off the court.
Figgs most recently served as Head Women’s Basketball Coach at Berkeley High School, where he led the program with a focus on accountability, player development, and academic excellence. His career highlights include winning the 2019 North Coast Section (NCS) Championship, the first in school history, and earning multiple community honors for his leadership and service.
In addition to coaching varsity programs at De Anza and Kennedy High Schools, Figgs has guided elite boys’ and girls’ AAU teams with the Bay Area Magic, producing college-ready talent and instilling a culture of competitive excellence. He is widely recognized for his inclusive coaching style and his commitment to mentoring student-athletes as both leaders and scholars.
A Richmond native, Figgs holds a B.A. in General Studies from Southern New Hampshire University.
