Contra Costa College connects students and families with vital resources to thrive in school and in life. From food and housing support to childcare, transportation, and wellness services, we’re here to help you navigate challenges and stay focused on your goals. Wherever you are in your journey, CCC is committed to your success.
Core Support
Get help with admissions, registration, financial aid, and general questions. If you don’t know where to find the help you need, the Welcome Center is a great place to start.
Food Access + Nutrition
Get fresh fruits and vegetables at weekly and bi-monthly distributions on campus. Open to all students and community members. No ID or income verification required. Just bring your own bags.
Dates: 1st + 3rd Mondays
Time: 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
CalFresh offers monthly food benefits to help low-income individuals and families buy nutritious groceries. We encourage all qualifying students to take advantage of this opportunity. Need help with CalFresh?
Staff can guide you through the application and help you access free monthly grocery funds, including support for undocumented and part-time students.

Health + Wellness
Free 24/7 virtual care for CCC students, including on-demand medical support, scheduled mental health counseling, and self-guided wellness tools like meditations and health tips.
Services include:
- Medical Now: On-demand help for common health issues
- TalkNow: 24/7 emotional support
- Scheduled Counseling: Book appointments that fit your schedule
- Health Coaching: Guidance on nutrition, sleep, and stress
- Self-Guided Wellness: Meditations, tips, and more at your own pace
Shower facilities at CCC are open to all members of the public. No appointment or student ID is needed. Just stop by during open hours.
Available Times: Monday through Thursday | 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Free kits include soap, razors, hair products, toothbrushes, sanitary napkins, and more. Available at multiple campus locations.
Free menstrual products are stocked in restrooms and also available through the Compass Center and in restrooms across campus.
Free condoms and safer sex supplies are available in Student Life, the Compass Market, and on tables across campus, with additional kits available upon request for campus offices, events, or shared spaces.

Need a Chromebook, Wi-Fi hotspot, headset, or scientific calculator? CCC offers technology loans to help you stay connected and succeed in your classes. Devices can be checked out for the entire semester, free of charge. Supplies are limited, so early requests are encouraged.

Financial Support
U.S. citizens and eligible non-citizens (including permanent residents) can apply for federal financial aid such as Pell Grants, loans, and work-study. Have questions? Our financial aid and welcome center teams can help you get started!

Undocumented students who meet AB 540 criteria can apply for state financial aid, including Cal Grants, through the CADA.This application is for eligible Dreamers and does not require a Social Security number.

Apply for over 100 unique scholarships only available to 4CD students with one application through the CCC Foundation! There are CCC Foundation scholarships available to all types of students, not just ones who excel at academics.
The Application is available between November and February of each academic year.

If you’re a first-generation college student or had a high school GPA below 2.5, you may qualify for EOPS—a support program offering academic counseling, priority registration, book vouchers, school supplies, and transportation help. CARE provides added support for single parents, and CalWORKs assists students receiving county cash aid.

Youth + Early College Programs
On-campus childcare for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in a safe and nurturing environment. Priority is given to CCC student-parents actively enrolled in courses.

Contra Costa College offers a competitive athletics program that helps student-athletes grow on and off the field. Current sports include men’s and women’s soccer, football, volleyball, baseball, and men’s and women’s basketball. Athletes benefit from academic support, leadership opportunities, and a strong team community.

Creates space for students from Middle Eastern and North African backgrounds to celebrate culture, build community, and engage in campus life through events, dialogue, and advocacy.
The MSA promotes community, understanding, and growth by fostering connections between Muslim and non-Muslim students and sharing the values and teachings of Islam across campus.
Provides linked English and counseling courses, mentoring, university visits, and cultural events. Puente MáS includes additional STEM tutoring and transfer support.

LGBTQIA+ Support
A student-led group dedicated to uplifting LGBTQIA+ voices and fostering a strong sense of community on campus. The club hosts regular meetings, discussions, and events focused on advocacy, education, and celebration. All LGBTQIA+ students and allies are welcome to join and get involved in creating an inclusive, affirming environment.

CCC provides students with access to both academic and personal counseling. For students seeking mental health support, free individual and group therapy is available through our Wellness Counseling program. Services are confidential and supportive of LGBTQIA+ identities.

Undocumented Student Support
CCC is committed to supporting undocumented students through the Dreamers Alliance, a network of trained faculty, staff, and managers. For guidance, support, or referrals, contact the Undocumented Student Program Coordinator.

CCC partners with IIBA to provide free immigration legal aid for students and their families. Services include assistance with DACA (initial and renewal), naturalization, family petitions, TPS, green card renewals, and more. In-person appointments are available on Thursdays, with DACA fee funding available when possible.
