Jake Sloan

Jake Sloan is the owner of Davillier-Sloan, Inc. (DSI). DSI is one of the leading labor-management consulting firms in California. Overall, DSI has more than 40 years of varied and increasing responsibility in the construction industry, and more than 20 years of experience in negotiating and managing Project Labor Agreements for major construction projects and programs. Clients include the Bay Area Rapid Transit District and the Port of Oakland. DSI also specializes in developing and managing prevailing wage and labor compliance related administration for major projects.

A former student at Contra Costa College, Jake holds a Master’s Degree in American History from San Francisco State University. The subject of his Master’s thesis was Blacks in Construction. He is a founding member and past president of the Bay Area Contract Compliance Officers Association (BACCOA).

After serving for 3 years in Germany, France and the United States, Jake was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army.
