     CONCURRENT ENROLLMENT
 
        K-12 Students and Home-schooled Minors
 
   1. Public and private school K-12 students must submit
       signed by the principal or counselor and the parent/guardian. 
       The Concurrent Enrollment form must be submitted every term.
       The admissions application is required once each year (usually
       submitted for the summer term). 
 
       The above materials must be on file at the Admissions &
       Records Office before you will be allowed to register.
       Your registration period will be provided to you by
       Admissions & Records staff after the required documents
       are submitted.
 
   2. Home-schooled minors must submit an admissions application,
       a Concurrent Enrollment Form signed by the parent/guardian,
       and a Private School Affidavit Confirmation Form for schools
       with 5 or fewer students. The form can be obtained online from
       the California Department of Education (CDE) at
 
   3. Special Note about computer laboratory classes.
       Parents of concurrently enrolled students wishing to
       enroll their child in a computer laboratory class should be
       sure to closely review the language pertaining to internet
       access in Part II of the Concurrent Enrollment Form.
 
   4. Concurrent enrollment in fall and spring courses will be
       contingent on a space available basis after priority
       enrollment. Concurrent enrollment in summer courses
       will be contingent on space available one week prior to
       the start of instruction.
 
   5. Concurrently enrolled students will not be permitted to
       enroll in a physical education class unless they are enrolled
       at the CCC Middle College High School (MCHS).
 
   6. Any course offered at a school site must be an open
       enrollment college level course not offered by the school
       and not designed specifically for concurrently enrolled
       students. The agreement between the college and the
       school for the specific course, as well as the dates of
       instruction are to be attached to the application for
       enrollment.
 
   7. During summer session high school sophomores who
       will be juniors in the coming academic year will be treated
       as juniors.
