Sara Marcellino

Sara Marcellino brings 20 years of nonprofit management and development experience to the Contra Costa College Foundation (CCCF), where she designs and implements a comprehensive fundraising strategy to ensure CCCF has the resources to support student success at CCC. She also has experience in program and financial management, communications and outreach.

Sara is currently active with the Golden Gate Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals as well as the Development Executives Roundtable. She has a strong interest in social justice, education, world cultures and public radio. Check out her latest KQED Perspective.

Sara holds a M.A. in Geography and Human Environmental Studies from San Francisco State University and a B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy from Boston College.

She has written for magazines such as Leadership and Bay Nature, as well as for the Sierra Club Books Publication Ecological Literacy: Educating Our Children for a Sustainable World.
