Middle College High School (MCHS) is a nontraditional high school composed of about 300 students who attend both high school and college courses at Contra Costa Community College located in San Pablo, California.

Here, students benefit greatly from an "active learning" approach to education while taking advantage of the wide range of resources made possible by a unique collaboration between the West Contra Costa Unified School District and Contra Costa Community College.

Middle College High School primarily targets students who are at risk of falling behind in a traditional high school environment. However, it is thanks to our unique and ever-changing program that we boast of forging a dynamic learning environment where students can meet and most likely exceed the standards of the traditional high school.
