BOOK SALE DONATIONS

The Friends of the CCC Library accepts donations of books, video recordings, compact discs and audiocassettes. All donations should be in good, clean condition; we cannot accept items that have been exposed to mildew or damaged by water. The Library is most interested in new/recent textbooks, current fiction, and non-fiction that might meet the needs of the college's curriculum. The college librarians will evaluate all donations. Items not added to the collections will be placed in the FOL book sales.

DONATION YOUR USED INKJET CARTRIDGES

The FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY is now collecting empty inkjet cartridges for recycling. The amount we can earn ranges from 10 cents to $2.00 for each cartridge recycled. The funds will be used to support the collections and services of the Contra Costa College Library.

Cartridges can be deposited in a collection bin located by the Photocopier Alcove in the CCC Library. Simply place your old cartridge in a plastic sandwich bag and deposit it in our collection bin. The acceptable cartridges are listed below. PLEASE: No large laser or toner cartridges – the recycling company will not accept them.
