 COLLEGE SKILLS CENTER
Library and Learning Resource Center (LLRC), Room 121

     The College Skills Center (CSC) offers supportive studying and tutoring environment with a general study area, a tutoring area, a conference room, and a quiet study room for students. Computers are available for tutorials, word processing and Internet use. Reading, writing, and ESL instructors are available to help students, as are peer tutors. (Please see the "Schedules and Calendars" and "Campus-Wide Tutoring" pages for more information).

    The CSC also offers individualized instruction in reading and writing, including assistance with course writing assignments. If you would like help with your reading or writing in any course, please come to the CSC to meet with an instructor and enroll in ENGL 102-Writing Skills Laboratory; or ENGL-103-Reading Skills Laboratory (see the class schedule or the Academic Skills program section of the catalog and class schedule for more information). Free workshops may also be available.

    To use the CSC facilities, students must be enrolled in at least one designated English, ESL, or Math class with an “hours by arrangement” requirement or an ENGL102 co-requisite (i.e. ENGL 092, 102, 103, 110A/B, 139, 142A/B; ESL 109), or they must enroll in ACSKL 875N, a free, non-credit course.
