Up Circulation Desk

The CCC Library provides materials for classroom assignments and personal interest, as well as offering a quiet space for research and study. You can help the Library maintain these services for all of its users by following these guidelines:

bullet

Maintain quiet so that others in the area may work undisturbed.

bullet

Do not bring food or beverages into the reference, study, media or computer areas.

bullet

Check out all materials that you take from the library (using your student ID card).

bullet

Return books on or before their due dates. Others may be waiting to use them.

bullet

Leave materials you are not checking out on a re-shelving table, even if you are pretty sure that you know where they go on the shelves. A book placed in the wrong spot is a lost book!

bulletFollow the Library's computer policy when using the library workstations.
bulletLimit computer searches to 20 minutes when someone is waiting.
bulletDo not read or send personal email.
bulletDo not enter or participate in any chat rooms.
bulletDo not play computer games.
bulletDo not download or reconfigure any software.
bulletBe aware that some online sites may be offensive to others. You may be asked to exit such sites.

A copy of the complete Library computer use policy is posted in the Library and on the Computer Policies page.
