Connecting to NetLibrary

There are three ways to access the CCC Library's ebooks collection:

bulletFind a book by subject, author or title in the CCC Library OPAC (online collection catalog). On the main entry screen, click on the link that says "An electronic book accessible through the World Wide Web; click for information." The initial screen showing details about the book will display.
    
bulletClick the link for NetLibrary on the CCC Library homepage at http://www.contracosta.edu/library. Search or browse the available titles.
    
bulletGo directly to NetLibrary at http://www.netlibrary.com In order to access the books in the CCC Library ebooks collection, you will need to log into your free account (which you have to create from on-campus). Note that there are also some freely accessible titles.

Software Requirements

In order to view books in NetLibrary, your computer needs to have the following software installed:

bulletBROWSER: Internet Explorer 5.5 (or above) or Netscape 6.2 (or above). See the Browser section in NetLibrary's HELP files for other supported browsers and requirements.
    
bulletREADER: Adobe Reader 6.0. You can download this free software from the link provided by NetLibrary.
