Fundraisers

Great News! The FOL has met the match required for the $50,000 grant from the Frank H. & Eva B. Buck Foundation. These funds will provide new books (and other materials) to go in the "new" (remodeled) library.  We were overwhelmed by the generous support of our FOL members, college employees, college retirees, and many members of our local community. Thank you!

The Friends of the Contra Costa College Library is part of the Contra Costa College Foundation. Its purpose is to promote the assets and programs of the library through fundraising activities, volunteerism and public relations. Friends help with: fund raising, publicity, book sales, book sorting, volunteering in the Library, and recruitment.

BOOK SALE DONATIONS

The Friends of the CCC Library accepts donations of books, video recordings, compact discs and audiocassettes. All donations should be in good, clean condition; we cannot accept items that have been exposed to mildew or water. The Library is most interested in new/recent textbooks, current fiction and non-fiction that might meet the needs of the college's curriculum. The college librarians will evaluate all donations. Items not added to the collections will be placed in the FOL book sales.
