Electronic Reserves

CONNECTING FROM OUTSIDE THE LIBRARY (available to currently-registered CCC students, FOL members, and employees only):  Click on the link for the database you want to use. Enter your last name and ID number in the boxes that appear on the grey authentication screen. Students: Your student ID number is printed on your class schedule. Employees: your ID number is on your paycheck stub.

California Digital Library  (Online Archive of CA, UC Libraries & more) 
Many of its resources are freely available to the public, such as the MelvylŪ Catalog,  the finding aids of the Online Archive of California and the digitized primary source material (e.g. photographs, manuscript pages, and correspondence) embedded in many of the finding aids.

CountryWatch.com  (up-to-date information and data on countries of the world)

CQ Researcher (analysis of many current & controversial topics)

Encarta Africana (history & culture of people of African descent  worldwide)  On-campus use only  

NetLibrary (CCC Library's electronic book collection)

PLOS: Public Library of Science
Provides freely available medical and science literature from around the world.

PubMed  
Provides citations from MEDLINE and other life science journals for biomedical articles, as well as links to full text articles and other related resources.

Berkeley Public Library - Online Resources
[For remote usage, you will need to log in using the number on your Berkeley Public Library card.]
Available databases include African American Study Center,
Gale Virtual Reference Books, Literature Criticism Online, Science Resource Center and Small Business Network Resource Library.

Contra Costa County Library - Databases by Subject
[For remote usage, you will need to log in using the number on your Contra Costa County Library card. If you do not have one, you may fill out an application online.] Available databases include Associations Unlimited, General OneFile, General Reference Center, Learning Express Library, Rosetta Stone, Science Online, and Student Resource Center.

Richmond Public Library - Electronic Databases
[For remote usage, you will need to log in using the number on your Richmond Public Library card.]
Available databases include Auto Repair Reference Center, Business & Company Resource Center, Health &  Wellness Resource Center, History Resource Center, and Literature Resource Center.
