Graphite stick          
Several pieces of charcoal from vine or willow,  compressed and or charcoal pencils.
Ink, India or Sumi black, lettering pen holder and pen points, container for water inexpensive brush for 1-2 classes.
conte crayons, several black and one white
Several kinds of erasers, gum eraser, kneaded, soft pink , pink pearl, or magic rub.
Box for storage, something with a handle.
