HONORARY / MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIPS
Created by former faculty, staff, and students or their
respective families and by community members & organizations
in recognition of individuals who made significant contributions
to the college or the community in general.
Each scholarship has its own designated criteria and amounts as
set by those who established the scholarship.
Please refer to flyer for details on the essay question(s), required
materials, AND criteria.
There is no limit to the number of Honorary/Memorial Scholarships
you apply for, however, you must meet the minimum criteria as stated
on the flyer.

The Sallie Mae Fund will provide $1 million in 2004 to help meet last
dollar needs of low-income students through the Unmet Need Scholarship
Program. If selected as a recipient, you will receive an award ranging
from $1,000 to $3,800.

The First in My Family Scholarship Program, administered by the Hispanic
College Fund, Inc. offers scholarships to Hispanic students who are the
first in their family to attend college. Scholarships range from
$500 to $5,000.

Fund
