N SC 010- Integrated Science with Laboratory
4 units: 3 hours lecture, 3 hours laboratory, LR, DG
This course presents an integrated study of the physical and life sciences covering selected topics from physics, chemistry, astronomy, biology, genetics, the environment and population, and their social implications. The themes of energy and evolution in nature are also emphasized. Weekly laboratories include demonstrations, discussions, experiments, and exercises. This course is recommended for all science and nonscience students.

N SC 100- Current Topics in Natural Science
.5-3 units: lecture and/or laboratory hours, SC, DG
This supplemental course in natural science is designed to provide a study of various topics, to be announced each term in the current course schedule. This course may be repeated three times.
