Major: Liberal Studies 36 units
An Associate in Arts degree may be earned by completing a minimum of 60 units of degree credit coursework, including the major requirements and breadth requirements, with a minimum grade point average of 2.0. The student must complete all courses required for the major with a grade of "C" or better.
The courses required for a Liberal Studies major are outlined in Chapter 3, Part I under Areas A, B, C, D and E. The term "additional units" means courses not already taken to fulfill part of the requirements. To fulfill the Liberal Studies major the courses must be distributed as follows:
