BUS-181 Applied Accounting

This course covers the application and use of record keeping and basic accounting practices to the records and reports of small business. In addition, it provides a background of business terms and procedures for the student preparing for entrance into small business or for those concerned with records of any business. Not repeatable.
BUS-191 Small Business Management
3 Units: 3 hours of lecture, per week, SC, DG, CSU
This course presents information on how to start, run, or expand a small business, and includes analysis of location, equipment, financing, cost control, credit management, merchandising, and marketing. Not repeatable.
BUS-194A through I Entrepreneurship Training Starting a Business
.2 Units: 3 hours of lecture, per term, CR/NC, DG
BUS 194 is a series of short-term modules that present information on how to start, run, or expand a small business. Module A covers Starting a Business. Each module requires from one to four sessions. This course is useful to anyone who has recently started a small business, or to anyone planning to own or manage a small business. May be repeated three times.
