ENTERING GRADES INTO DATATEL USING WINTEGRATE

Remember: Students in NON-CREDIT courses earn positive attendance hours only; they do not get grades.

  1. On a PC computer connected to the District network, click on the Wintegrate icon (or use the Programs menu).
  2. Enter your login name and password.

    If you do not remember your ID and password, or have not yet been assigned one, please send an email to datatel-passwords@collegesofcc.cc.ca.us You will receive a response within 2 hours. Or contact the staff in the College Resource Center during open hours on one of the days scheduled Grade Entry.

  3. Press the Enter key twice.
  4. At the Main Menu, select #2 and press the Enter key.
  5. At the colon prompt(:) type (in caps) ST -- for Student System
  6. In the Student System dialog box, place the cursor in the Selected Item rectangle and type GRSL, then press the Enter key. You will need to bring up this screen each time you load grades.
  7. Click "Finish" and then "OK," which will automatically take you to the FRGN screen.
  8. In the Course Section Lookup box, input the 4-digit section number. Press the Enter key.
  9. If the section has been previously used, the Course Section Resolution screen will appear. Locate the number next to your course and input it into the box below. Press the Enter key.
  10. On the FGRN screen, the cursor will automatically blink on Line #1 (Instructor of Record). Click on the grade column for the first student. Enter the grade, then press the enter key 3 times. The cursor will move to the next line.
  11. After you input all grades, go to the Grades Verified Field and enter the current date, using the format MM/DD/YY. Press the Enter key.
  12. Go to Verify Now and enter "Y" for yes.

    YOU MUST VERIFY THE GRADES ENTERED. Failure to verify grades will cause the student to receive a grade of "RD" (report delayed) and a loss of funding for the college.

  13. After you have input grades and hours, submit your signed and completed roster to the staff in Admissions
