The assessment is used along with other information to help you get off to a successful start at Contra Costa College. It is a vital tool in determining the most appropriate courses for you to begin your college career at CCC. The assessment test does not affect your admission to CCC in any way!

Counseling/Group Program Planning (Step 4)

During the counseling and program planning portion of the matriculation process you will select courses, and develop an initial educational plan to help you meet your educational goals. You will also learn how to access services and programs that may benefit you. If you need additional help with selecting classes, you may still meet with a counselor on an individual basis. You will receive your test results at the counseling program planning session. If you cannot attend a program planning session you will not receive your test results until you meet with a counselor. It works best if you can attend a counseling/group program planning session and then meet with a counselor if you need additional assistance.
