The purpose of the Contra Costa College Archives is to collect, organize, preserve,
and make available materials of historical significance to the college. They are housed
in the college library.
Access: These materials are available for research by anyone who is interested in the history and development of the college. The materials do not circulate; they must be used in the library under supervised conditions, to ensure their preservation for future researchers.
Appointments: Researchers may make an appointment to use the archives during the library's regular weekday hours by calling the library Reference Desk (510) 235-7800 x4450.
Donations:The Archives accepts donations of materials that help document the history and development of the college. Such items may include college catalogs and course schedules, yearbooks, photographs, student publications, college and district newsletters. The addition of donated items to the collections is subject to the assessment of the college librarians.
