Students Rights and Responsibilities
You have the right to know how your financial need has been calculated. You and your parents( if you are a dependent student ) are expected to provide accurate information on all application materials and are expected to provide a signed and dated photographic copy of your most recent income tax return( if requested ). The federal government requires the financial aid office to make every effort to insure that financial information obtained from all sources is accurate and not contradictory. Under provisions of the U.S. Criminal Code, when such information is used to establish eligibility for federal student aid funds, false statements or misrepresentations may be subject to a fine, imprisonment or both to those providing the misleading or falsified information Return to Awards, Loans and Scholarships |
