Federal Pell Grant

This grant is awarded to eligible undergraduates who are seeking their first undergraduate degree and who have provided the financial aid office with all of the required documents, i.e., signed copies parental or personal income information. Federal Pell Grants are awarded yearly, one-half in the Fall semester and the second half in the Spring semester. Short term classes are paid on a Special Adjustment at the end of each semester.

Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)

This grant is awarded to Pell-eligible students with exceptional need. FSEOG awarding is based on the student's eligibility and the availability of funds. FSEOG is disbursed the same way as Federal Pell Grants, one-half in the Fall semester and the second half in the Spring semester.

Academic Competitiveness Grant (ACG)

These awards provide monies for the first and second year of undergraduate study to full-time students who are U.S citizens, eligible for a Federal Pell Grant, and who had successfully completed a rigorous high school program.  To apply for the ACG award students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
