Determination of the Amount of your Financial Aid Offer

    Your financial need and the availability of State and Federal Funds determines the amount of your financial aid.

    Your financial need is calculated using this formula:

    Cost of Attendance

    -Resources

    -Expected Family Contribution

    -----------------------------

    =Your Financial Need


    Your expected family contribution is determined by the information you report on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.

You May Expect a Change in Your Award if You...

  • Enroll in less than twelve (12) units


  • Drop below half-time


  • Have a discrepancy between information on your free Application for Federal Student Aid or Renewal Application and actual figures reflected on verification documents, such as tax forms.

Renewal of Financial Aid

    Student must re-apply every academic year for Federal and State financial aid.

    Students seeking renewal of their financial aid should submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid to the appropriate financial aid application processing agency. It must be postmarked to the processing agency no later then March 2nd of each year to be considered early.
