Dear Families,

Welcome to the Early Learning Center at Contra Costa College. We are pleased that you have chosen to enroll your child at our center. We are guided by the belief that families are the primary influence in children's development. We consider ourselves a community of childcare providers by recognizing the importance of relationships between Teachers, Parents, Faculty and Students.

Sequential learning activities are provided to promote optimal physical, social, emotional and cognitive growth for each child. The environment is prepared in such a way that children may actively interact with people and materials and thus allow for the development of independence, decision-making, socialization and greater self-esteem.

We are delighted to have your family participating in our program, and have developed this web page to give you some insight into our program. We are here to work in partnership with you to nurture your child's development and make this an enriching experience for your whole family.

We encourage you to ask questions and make suggestions as your child participates with us. Your input is always valuable. We look forward to working with you, caring for and playing with your child, and sharing our community.
