First 5 Children and Family
Professional Development Program

The Contra Costa Children and Family First 5 Professional Development Program allows Early Childhood Education professionals to apply for scholarships, attend Contra Costa Community College, and receive academic support leading to a higher teachers permit credential, an Associate of Science Degree, or a Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Early Childhood Education.

Child Development Careers Program (TANF)
In addition to tuition reimbursement and job placement assistance, the program offers a range of support services to students. Participants have access to child care, transportation, tutors, faculty mentors, and on-campus support groups.

Mentor Teacher Program

Child Development Training Consortium (CDTC)

Child Care Access Means Parents in School (CCAMPIS)
The CCC Montessori Teacher Education ProgramI utilizes CCAMPIS grants to fund two student teaching positions, spanning both the Fall and Spring semesters. The students are placed in the Montessori preschool/kindergarten program at the Early Learning Center on campus.
