Computer Information Systems
Pam was born and raised in the Bay area, attended West Contra Costa County Schools and is an alumnae of Contra Costa College. She received her AA degree in Computer Operations in 1983. She continued taking classes at Contra Costa College for several years. In 2000 Pam attended Saint Mary's College in Moraga and in 2002 received her B.A. degree in Management.
Pam worked in the Graphic Design industry for over 15 years and in 1991, began teaching at Contra Costa College in the CIS department as a part-time instructor. In 1995, Pam began teaching at San Ramon Valley Center (SRVC), the satellite campus of DVC. She taught a variety of CIS courses including PageMaker, College for Kids, and Overcoming Computer Anxiety. In 1996, Pam began teaching in the CRC at Diablo Valley College as well as becoming a DataTel Instructor.
In 2002, Pam was hired as a full-time CIS instructor at Contra Costa College. She is thrilled to be here, and thoroughly enjoys teaching and the wonderful community here at Contra Costa College.
